Courir x Sakina M'sa

Courir is committed alongside Sakina M'sa to responsible and inclusive fashion.

Courir, the sneaker leader in France, is proud to announce its support for Sakina M'sa's fashion show, an iconic figure in sustainable and social fashion in France. This partnership is fully in line with the company's CSR strategy, affirming its commitment to promoting more responsible, inclusive, and engaged fashion.

For Courir, fashion is much more than just clothes or sneakers: it's a way to unite, convey and commit. It's with this perspective that the brand has already supported innovative projects like Casa93, an alternative fashion school. The partnership with Sakina M'sa represents a significant new step in this approach. Her new collection, presented on June 29 at the Carreau du Temple, is a true creative manifesto. It embodies a vision of upcycling, conscious elegance, and humanity, transforming unsold items and forgotten fabrics into unique pieces. The impact of this approach also lies in its social dimension: these creations are made by workers in integration programs, in an approach that is both responsible and humane.

Sakina M'sa, flag bearer of ethical and solidarity-based fashion

Sakina M'sa is a French fashion designer of Comorian origin, a pioneer of ethical, inclusive, and solidarity-based fashion. Since the launch of her eponymous brand in 2002, she has had a profound impact on the fashion industry in France, combining creativity, social commitment, and environmental respect.

Sakina M'sa has a committed vision of fashion, conceiving it as a vector of social bonding and emancipation. She founded her brand on the model of an integration company, promoting the employment of people in difficulty, including refugees, women in precarious situations, and young people from popular neighborhoods. Upcycling is at the heart of her creation, recovering fabric scraps from major fashion houses to create unique pieces that combine aesthetics and environmental respect.

Her commitment has earned her several awards, including the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris, the Prix de la Fondation Kering for the dignity and rights of women, and the Prix des Femmes for Sustainable Development.

Through her creations, workshops, and collaborations, Sakina M'sa inspires a new generation of creators and consumers.

"Our partnership with Sakina M'sa is a natural fit for Courir. For many years, our brand has been committed to more responsible fashion through various concrete initiatives and by supporting artists with different backgrounds and singularities. With Sakina M'sa, we are defending a new mindset for fashion. With her creations, she demonstrates that fashion can be a lever for social and environmental transformation, while offering an ethical and desirable alternative to conventional fashion," says Pierre Chambaudrie, President of Courir.

Courir, a lifestyle actor focused on tomorrow's fashion

This collaboration perfectly illustrates Courir's vision: a fashion brand that doesn't just follow trends, but creates them by integrating strong values. As part of this dynamic, Courir is multiplying concrete initiatives to combine style, responsibility, and positive impact.

With the "Recycle Your Ex Sneakers" program, in partnership with the Plymouth factory, the brand is committed to the circular economy by giving a second life to used pairs. These are recycled to create new pairs with soles made from recycled materials. This project has already led to inspiring collaborations, notably with Kappa and, more recently, with Aigle.

At the same time, Courir has partnered with Plastic Odyssey, an association that fights against plastic pollution in the ocean and coastal areas. This partnership demonstrates the brand's willingness to take concrete action to protect the planet and adopt a proactive approach to the environmental challenges facing the fashion industry.

Today, with creator Sakina M'sa, Courir is going even further by putting human beings at the heart of its commitment. Together, they are defending a fashion brand with a positive social impact, which values know-how and supports professional reintegration through ethical and solidarity-based production.
